Oblita-Ray Laser Restoration

Services

What the beam takes off.

If it is sitting on metal, wood, brick, or stone and it shouldn’t be, we probably have a setting for it.

01

Rust & oxidation

Surface rust, mill scale, and oxidation on steel, iron, and alloys. The beam flashes the rust to vapor and stops at the solid metal, so you keep thickness, edges, and detail instead of grinding them away.

02

Paint & coatings

Old paint, primer, and coatings on wood, metal, and stone. Layer by layer if we need to be gentle, or faster when the substrate can take it. No sanding dust cloud, no blast media stuck in the seams.

Painters · carpenters · contractors · homeowners

03

Varnish, clear coat & wood finish

Oil-based finishes, varnish, and clear coat on furniture and millwork. Laser stripping is especially kind to carved, turned, and irregular wood — the places a sander flattens or a chemical stripper soaks.

04

Baked-on grease & cooking buildup

Kitchen grease that has become geology. We lift it off equipment, fixtures, and surfaces without a solvent bath or a floor full of wash water — handy for diners, roasters, and anyone whose hood has seen things.

Restaurants · diners · coffee roasters

05

Industrial oil, grease & grime

Shop crud, machining oils, and baked-on grime off equipment, tooling, and molds. Non-contact cleaning is ideal for irregular cavities and hardware-dense parts where a wheel or media blast is a bad idea.

Machine shops · welders · mold makers

06

Graffiti & soot on masonry

Spray paint, soot, and staining off brick, stone, concrete, and monuments. The beam doesn’t chew the face of the masonry the way blasting does, and there’s no chemical runoff headed for a storm drain.

Property managers · municipalities · historic & grave work

Who calls

From hearths to heavy iron — and the dining table in between.

Rochester has shops, restorers, restaurants, and a lot of things that have been sitting outside since forever. If you own it, restore it, or have to make it look respectable again, the ray is in the toolkit.
